Funimation has been streaming a lot of shows recently. Some brand new ones and I cannot recommend enough that you check it out. But it just got better for me. This is not about a new show, its about a show from 1978. Its about Captain Harlock! Pretty much the most awesome anime protagonist ever and his original show is finally available legally in Japanese here in the states. While there's no DVD release date yet, I about cried watching the first ep finally.

I'm so effing happy. SO effing happy.

God (Haruhi in my case), remember when that was the big Daisho Con in-joke? (I guess for most of you no... cause the con hadn't happened yet... never mind.)
