...and here they are:

1. No Costume is no costume. This is still a public space, dress appropriately.
2. Absolutely no live steel or real firearms. All gun props must have orange paint or tape around the barrel.
3. There will be two categories in the Cosplay Contest, beginner and advanced. Commisioned (ie. You paid someone to make it for you/ bought it from someone) costumes must be entered in the Advanced, but the judges have final say on which category you go in. (ie. If you are bumped up to advanced, think of it as a compliment.)
4. If you are entering the contest, please bring a reference image for the judges. Colored pictures are preferred, but b&w will be accepted as well.
5. All Costumes MUST be related to Anime, manga, cartoons, comics, video games, or Scifi/Fantasy in order to be entered in the contest.
6. When on the stage for cosplay please do not step off until the judges have indicated it is okay. You may pose or do a catch-phrase but keep it under two minutes.

Do we need/can we do a skit?

If you so choose, fellow brown coat, you may do a short skit, under two minutes, but you don't need to.

No you don't NEED one, but if you want to add one, do it for flavor.

Oh, a quick question: Which day will the cosplay contest be on?

Saturday, kinda our big event before the dance. Hope to see you there! (You'll see me, if you don't then I really am short. lol)

In order to make sure the cosplay contest does not go over time we willl limit it to 35 entries. So to sign up yourself or your group, (1 group is 1 entry) make sure you sign up early it will be first come first serve.

When/where can we sign up? Is there a limit on members of a group cosplay? On the same note, once we've signed up, can we add to or subtract from our group?

Well sign up will be at the front desk whether or not forms will be available on the site is pending so for now I'd suggest showing up early.

I've never encountered a group larger than 8 so I'd say 10 is my limit. And you may subtract or add as long as the judges know BEFORE the cosplay contest set up at six o'clock on Saturday.
