Sony's linup didn't impress me at all.. most of their titles that they claimed would make them the best system were all multi-platform... sony is not making much progress at all

I know this is a little old by now, but they really didn't sell me this experience. I admit, it would be a great thing if its done well, but I'm not sold on the idea that it will work well. It my just be me being a skeptic but, I dono...just isn't rubbing me the right way, you know?

Also, Beatles Rock Band I WANT TO PLAY YOU! Anyone for a duet? :D

So, here's what I'm seeing:

Natal, great concept. Microsoft is spotty on making "concepts" work, though. Holding judgement until we have release dates and titles.
Nintendo: Any other year, would have been a good conference. Not this year. Still, kudos for Golden Sun DS, New Super Mario Wii, Mario Galaxy 2, and METROID: OTHER M!!!!

Oh, did I mention that Metroid is getting a new game? By the guys who did Ninja Gaiden? Yeah. I'm excited.

Metal Gear: Rising looks cool, and multiplatform, which makes me (a PC Gamer) happy.

Monkey Island: Special Edition + New episodic Monkey Island? YES PLEASE.
Final Fantasy 14? Utter suprise.

So, all in all, a much better E3 than previous years. My only Christmas game, probably, is still going to be Bioshock 2 (and maybe Monkey Island), but if Left 4 Dead 2 looks good, I might pick that up.

Disappointed I haven't heard anything else from Valve, though. I mean, it's been 2 years since Half Life 2: Episode 2. We need Ep. 3 NOW! *facepalms at their lack of understanding what "episodic" meant*

So... more thoughts when I hear more. Most of the other announcements I've been "meh" about, but being an Adventure gamer (and a Valve/PC fanboy) not too surprising. Like what I do see, though.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Natal, I think they can make it work.
Some of the new Wii games look pretty interesting, but Wii isn't my console of choice.
The new Xbox games are looking fantastic, though! L4D2, AC2, Alan Wake... also I hope that Brink and Borderlands are on the 360. Co-op RPG/FPS is one of my favorite game types, and they both look like they'll deliver in at least that much.
I must be Jewish...there's no logical reason for me not to be...

Just found out the excellent news that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is getting 5 new characters and on-line play for its North American release!
