Horror games are dead, now with fatal frame 4 not being released and silent hill 5 blowing chunks so hard it should have been an action game. Resident evil aint been horror for sometime, and Fear, is an FPS with horror bits, not even very good bits at that...

And speaking of Fear 2, what is up with the blatant undead pedophilia going on with Alma wanting to breed like she is a maggot infested corpse MILF anyway?

Fatal frame is our last hope of a truly scary series. Its still based on the STORY, and not any any wierd mechanics or quicktime events. And you wander around with something you DONT feel safe holding. BFG's make you feel safe, even from zombies. But a camera? that never luls you into complacency.

Oh fatal frame the um..."fond" memories. I was like 7 when my cousin first showed me his fatal frame game. I couldn't give you a number, this was a while back. However I had nightmares for weeks, but the game seemed fun . It's true, true horror games are practically dead. They are all either action games, gore fests, or some mixture of the two.

yes none of these are spam bots. they are all sponsored by BTCL (beyond the cameras lens one of the main sites for fatal frame love in the US, and that is where all of the links I got are from.

And what I LOVE about the series is that you have almost always have to live through some Shinto ritual gone wrong, to undo the shinto ritual gone wrong., and that they are all tracable to one thing Western influences in Shnito causing the way to be corrupted. In Fatal frame 1-3 you kind of work your way backwards though a continuing downward spiral of rituals that went wrong because of one guy, who wanted to use technology to see spirits. Fatal frame 4 appears to be about tourism destroying japans spirit connections. without needing to be sequels as such, there is a base continuity and developing naturally in the story line that I find lacking in other series.

Haven't played Requiem or feel but SIREN.....

ugh... Reading my divorce paperwork is scarier than that game. The Rose game about the orphans had better and less "We will MAKE SURE you follow our way only or die" type pf game play.

And the GIRL needs to die sooner rather than later. The Girl was the worst part of the game.
