At No brand I only saw two actual Narutos, one was crappy but he wasnt expecting much (which i can live with) and another was actually done quite well.

my first cosplay ever was jesse from pokemon. My girlfriend and I went as team rocket to our anime club's halloween party and pretended to be "manga inspectors" in order to steal all the manga. It was the most horrible fail cosplay ever and If I ever find pictures I'll promptly destroy them.

In my opinion, if someone is going to cosplay a version of Naruto, it should be from chapter 430 and beyond. Anything before that is just geeky and overdone.

I've seen a few good naruto's at a con but I think it's dying down a bit now.
I like the shippuden series a little bit but I just stopped cause they wen't over board.
But cosplayings about fun so if you wanna do Naruto you should. *nodsnods*
