My thoughts: Finally! This is great news, and a step in the right direction. Do they have them available for purchase 5 days afterwards as well? I think that's the next step. Give me the ability to purhase a digital copy of the episode for a few dollars soon after its release. Many people aren't interested in waiting around for the dvd release anymore...and dvd's are now an obsolete format for many of us as it is.

My Thoughts: DHBSUUBUHW HUGHES!!!11!

In all seriousness now, I love it. I like the art style they're using for this one. I also really like the opening. Much better than the first intro for the first series (not referring to Ready Steady Go. That's opening #2).

That's pretty cool. Quicksubbing seems to be the new thing for anime companies nowadays. I'm happy they are going through so much trouble to generate excitement.

Who thinks they are going to make more movies now that the main series has been reopened?

Hmm it seems you are alll for it, my self I have some reservations. I personally think the orignal is a beautiful piece of art and I kinda feel it shouldn't be messed with by making more.

Ah, I see what you're asking now. I thought you were just wondering if I'm excited about the immediate subbing idea...which I am.

As far as them remaking it? I agree with you, why mess with what's not broken? I also agree with something Nick said recently: it hasn't even been 10 years since the original. If they are going to remake it...at least wait a bit longer for crying out loud?

Thanks for the shout out. ^_^

But yeah. I mean it seems really unnecesary. And yes, I'm still gonna watch it, but I can't say its good or bad if I never try it out.

I'm digging the art style thus far. The action scenes are great. But FMA's first venture was know more for its tender heart than its automail fist, so we'll have to see how this one chooses to do things.

I'm currently powerhousing through the original series... got to ep 20 in less than a week, which is pretty good for my schedule. :)

By the time I'm done, they'll have 2 or 3 eps aired of Brotherhood, so I'll get a good sample of whether or not I like it.

I'm still keeping my mind open to the series. Again, they're trying to follow the manga more so this time, and I've read a small chunk of it. It's doesn't pull at the heart strings as much as the anime did. I kind of like where they're going with it so far.

I see no reason why this new anime shouldn't be welcomed with open arms. They made a new Hellsing closer to the original manga when there was already a TV series. Look at how popular that is. I have faith in Studio Bones to make another awesome product.

I've \ikEd what IvE seen(1st ep). Mainly commenting to post from my DSi. Has +roublE w/ lowEr case E's and T's.
Given that I would never live that down, I made a wisecrack instead. "Do you have a little white dress? I've had this deep-seated nurse fantasy about you, Murphy."

Just watched episode 3. I like how the Cornello segment was fit into one episode in this, as opposed to two in the original. It seemed like there were some parts in the original that were unnecessary, and it moved a little slow. The pacing of the new one is excellent.

And episode 4 is going to be the Shou Tucker incident... oh God.
