I'm going to throw out the first arguement here and say Gmail. Having used the other two (granted not in their more recent forms) I can at least say that Gmail is my personal favorite.

I just fell in love with the general forum-style posting. So you can keep in touch with a lot of people at once without having to shuffle through insanely crowded emails.

Gmail. Cleanest, fastest, has the fewest ads... Just the best experience by far.

Gmail. At least for me. I use a smart phone and outlook for work and the iMap support for mobile devices and front end email apps is amazing!

Windows Live and Yahoo both require a fair amount of BS to get setup with simple POP3 support and i believe yahoo requires an annual fee for mobile device support.

Gmail's web interface is also superior.

I enjoy Yahoo as a basic, thrill-less web-based server. As just a straight-up e-mail provider, it works fine. But yeah, Gmail is the best, hands down.

Hotmail is reserved for most forum signups and anything likely to get spammed.

I prefer Gmail...and I have issues with yahoo and their spam screening...they have ruined not one but three chances on me getting my 1st pressing freebies from cd japan...oh yeah I'm still miffed about that

hotmail, it is more convienient for me to use and i like the way that hotmail is setup
