Ok I've notice that there isn't a link aside from the back button that brings us back home. Sometimes I get to far into the forum that it takes a while just to go back. So I was wondering if there is any way you guys can make a link to send us back to the home page of Daisho con. Aside from that you guys are doing great and I like the coloring of names. I think you guys are doing the best that you can with everything you can do.

I'm not really sure. Do you have access to open the code even? I'm looking atthe PHP BB code, and I'm not sure where it goes...

yeah, I don't have access to the code. Otherwise I would do that. I could talk to the host admins, but for now, you guys will just have to use bookmarks to do it

This is hosted on freeforums.org. If there's not already an option somewhere, there probably won't be a way to put it on there. You could always ask, but they probably will use the opportunity to try to sell you some package that you have to pay for.

That sounds like a crazy idea. So crazy it JUST MIGHT WORK.

I think Capito was dabbing in making forums. Maybe if you ask him nicely he might finish it.

No need to make anything, we could definitely host our own forums (we already do but their secret test forums...shhhh!) However, I believe it costs $30 for an unencrypted backup of these forums. Otherwise we'd have to start over again.

Anyone want to pay the money? :wink:

Although we don't have a bad deal here. I have never seen these forums down, and they never run slow.

Exactly. These forums have a 99% uptime (or so they claim) and I'll be honest...I've never seen them down either. If it was a huge issue we'd change in a heartbeat...but so far they've worked like a charm. The best part: using these forums doesn't deplete any of our bandwith.

That being said, I'm definitely not opposed to hosting our own though either. If we want to scrape together the funds, I'll gladly pledge $5.

Same here, although I am curious as to how much bandwidth these forums require.

As long as everyone remembers that our forums should be linked from http://forum.daishocon.com everything is fine with me.
