Daisho Con

So I got my hair cut short like a inch above my shoulders not realizing that it completely screws up my current cosplay options for Anime Iowa in August.
So I've been racking my brain for ideas but I can't figure anything out that is feasible for a two month span. And commissioning isn't the most affordable option.
Oh yeah keep in mind this summer con so the heat is a factor.
Please give me suggestions! Please help me!

Erm... I don't know. You can borrow any of my wigs if you want - I'll be going to anime iowa so I could give them to you there.

I've got a long black one with long side-bangs, a fluffy bowie-style red one, a slightly-longer than shoulder length purpley/white one and a crazy spazzy blue one with wired in pig-tails.

If that open up any more of your cosplay options, I don't know. I figured I'd offer. Hope you find something.

Wigs are your friend....hair shouldn't be a cosplay death...wigs make you free in that sense....(as long as they are good wigs)

Sure, I'll give it a wash and a comb (it's been a while since I've worn it and it's a bit tangly at the moment) and bring it to the con for you. Otherwise, I can see if I can somehow get it to you sooner. Although I don't have the slightest idea where you are.

Well, she bought the wig to play Soren from Fire Emblem.

I'm sure there are plenty of cosplays out there that call for long, black hair. Just can't seem to think of any at the moment.

All i can think is Rin from Fruits Basket but she's so obscure unless you have read the manga.

Yeah, I never really liked rin anyway... Call me sexist, but my tolerance for bitchyness in characters is WAY higher when the character is male.

My cousin and I were thinking, and Kagome came up right away. But again, I'm not a huge fan of Kagome either.

Yomiko Readman from Read Or Die would be super cute.

It's hard to think of characters with long black hair because there really are a lot...
