It is in my opinion a great game. Whether I'm hunting down dead drops (encoded satilite messages) or restoring power to the city, I constantly find myself entraped.

Here's a Trailer for those interested.

Why bother, it's on PS2 isn't it?

Also, SKS I'm surprised you're playing this! :)

Its not on the ps2 and I've already got over 5 different reasons to get that console. I see no reason to discriminate against a canvas witch is the only thing a console means to me. Only after it's retirement do I judge a consoles worth. I base that decision on how much fun I've had with that system. Little Big Planet alone is a fun as hell game. I want to play cross edge really bad. I am a huge metal gear fan and need to collect them all eventually. God of war is exclusive to playstation. I really don't care about console wars. The wii however goes against every hardcore vein in my body and I haven't found a reason to invest in one yet.

as for infamous a large part of the appeal of that game is the aesthetics and I'm majorly about art in games.

It's for the PS3 (my brother has one). And probably one of the main reasons I like it is because you have the option of being a HERO as well as being inFAMOUS I've been playing the side of good, while my brother has been playing the side of Evil. While both sides of the game have similairities, such as the have had the same cutscenes (so far) it still creates enough difference to make me want to play the darker side too. Which is probably the most suprising part for me, being as I am the kind of person that when one of the many nameless citizen gets injured from getting in the crossfire I run over there and heal them, often mid battle. So the thought of me even playing a round where I drain the life from citizens so I can shoot off a few more energy blasts... is a bit suprising.

The game itself is very detiailed. Meaning both the graphics and the story. When you start off the game you have these electrical powers, but you don't know why or how you got them. You accidentaly cause massive explosions and are seen as a terroriest in the eyes of the city. As the game goes on they explain everything from why you've become a human light bulb, to why your heath regenerates to what you have to do to stop the man behind everything. On a side note there is no heath bar. As you get injured blood spatters appear on the fringes of the screen. When it gets hard to hear and goes black and white, you know your in trouble. You do have limited energy though. You use it for special moves, but you can use your standard lightning shot anytime. You can restore your energy by draining it from almost everyting, including nearby streetlamps, a little from passing cars, or... knocking out and bio draining an unfortunate bystander. Your health is substantialy increased every time you draw on a little energy.

Other details include how if, outside of a mission, and I'm running by an area and see some reapers fighting with the police I'll jump in and back up the cops afterwhich I'll heal any injured civilians by which time I'll be surrounded by thankful citizens who are complimenting me, taking pictures and calling thier friends to say things like, "You won't believe this! I actually saw him!" The voices are loud enough to understand but quiet enough to be in the background. Occasionally a person will speak up if I missed an injured person and point to where they are lying, they'll also let me know if someone nearby is being mugged and other such things. If I don't feel like dealing with more requests I can always climb up a building and the run on the rooftops (I am personally a fan of fighting from on top of traffic lights. On the other hand, if my brother were to jump into such a situation, he would be attacked from all sides, the cops may even run away. After the smoke cleared, the people would run, jeer, or throw rocks (which cause damage).

I realize I am rambling, so I'll stop, but it's only because my brother is playing right now, and I'm not.

Ps: I love how I described so much without a single spoiler.
