The Pillows (Classic FLCL J-Rock)

Maximum The Hormone (J-OMGWTF-psycho-death-metal-rock)

ALI PROJECT (Bad J-pop... I say bad because her high-tempo chaotic instrumental music style is actually quite innovative. Has a persian feel to it, but that same effect leaves all her songs sounding the same.)

Flow (J-Rock) is pretty popular too. They do many anime soundtracks. I like them.

That's all I can think of for now.
