There's nothing wrong with listneing to good music.
Given that I would never live that down, I made a wisecrack instead. "Do you have a little white dress? I've had this deep-seated nurse fantasy about you, Murphy."

I listen to European goth Metal, I have to accept anything people listen to that isn't Rap. And frankly if I had to listen to another genre it'd be 60's hippy music. I'm listening to some now.

*sigh* think about Stevens Point and its insanely large population of rednecks and their opinion of 'hippie music'...

Now that I think about it. This is the exact same feeling I got when the kids started referring to the SNES as oldschool. Actually, I still get that feeling. The SNES was the 90's. It's not even two decades old yet!

Think about what Two decades old was back when gaming started. Technology moves two fast for terms like oldschool to run in decades. Most gamers are younger than 20, and barely any are over 30. Technology requires and adjusted time frame simply because things become outdated so incredibly quickly. Windows 95 games are oldschool. Thats about the same age as the 64. The SNES is undeniably oldschool, and the 64 has hit that point as well.

Actually, the average age of the typical gamer is 33.

Remember, WE are the gaming generation. As we get older so does that number. Gaming isn't something associated with kids anymore.

(not that I disagree with your point)
