Easily the Best Movie of the Year... all the Hollywood critics can go all go suck it if they think some chick flick that takes place in the Baroque Era of France is gonna win Movie of the Year again like some form ALWAYS does at the oscars.

The actors they got for this film all played their roles perfectly. The guy who plays Dr. McCoy nailed the character down so much, that he even looks like Deforest Kelly in so many ways.

It was just awesome, and leaves open so many possibilities for sequels. That's all I'm gonna say.

You should all come over to the Sci-Fi section and discuss this film with me! I'll be seeing it again in a few days; review to come shortly thereafter.

Most illogical. You commented on the thread about Star Trek 11 in the Sci-Fi section!

ok now I am back in the familiar land of confusion... help

*edit*
ok confusion over, my problem is that I do more skimming than actual reading, and I never actually commented on the movie in the other thread

I wasn't that impressed by it. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.

I have to admit this was a movie that lived up to all the hype. I actually smiled when I saw the new Enterprise on screen. The plot was great, all the actors brought their a-game (Bones, Spock, Sulu and Scotty in particular). Pike was treated well as a character and Lenord Nimoy still is Awesome now as he was in the past. I look forward to seeing where this series goes and I shall go in to next film at full warp speed to face the awesomeness head on.
