Daisho Con

I guess this is kinda weird but I was thinking about playing with my band for Daisho. Just one song or something. Would that be ok for the variety show (if there's one) or is that a little too complicated to set up?

We can supply the amps and mic, though I'm not sure about the PA system and whether or not we even have enough power in our amps to play over the drums. =.= Being broke is very frustrating...I can blame cosplay. XP

Also, like if we can set up before the show and leave the stuff there until after we play?

While peeping in on this thread, I have to ask. What kind of music do you play? Also, I saw you at daisho and I gots me a picture

It's not necesssarily up to me, as I am not the organizer for the variety show. But dealing with a lot of band equipment is a real hassle. All I can really say.

We're kinda new so we're doing covers for now, but I'm thinking we'll play God Knows or something to that effect...and the hassle is what I'm worried about...plus, whether or not people will decide to waltz in and just go 'oooo shiny!' -Take!-

If you're willing to set up your equipment beforehand and do all of the grunt-work then you're more than welcome to play the variety show

As Toast mentioned, it can be a pain...but if you're willing to do the set-up and tear down I don't see any reason why not.

Well, we only live half an hour away so probably just stuff everything in the car or something...hopefully. XD Well, at least my bass will be safe with me since I'm planning on cosplaying Haruko. ^_^
