Ok I think there is enough of a following on the forums that there should be a zombie forum. There are many different zombie related conversations, that I think need to be housed in a special zombie part of our board. Maybe we could just do a genre board, I don't know. sicne some genre cover more than just one medium, and for this we need a special section. I put a poll on this to show support.

I've got mixed feelings about it. It seems that zombies were a lot more popular a few months ago than they are now, or at least in forum traffic both here and elsewhere. And giving zombies a forum wouldn't we have to give other things their own forums as well?

I don't, I'm not completely against it, but I lean on the side of no. But that's just me.

What about the other thing I said, A Genre Forum.

Inside people could start there own Zombie, Gundam, Crossdressing threads.

Just an idea...

I think it's a sweet idea...but that's also really what General Chat is supposed to be for.

Seriously though, I'd rather not get a ton of smaller forums going since that will just spread out talking too much for our size of a forum right now.

You could buy a vbulletin license for $180 and have subforums. Plus you can do a lot more with that service, you already have a server after all.

There are a few PHPbb mods and hacks that will allow sub-forums. We might have to look into it when we get our own server for forums.
