The Last Unicorn

Postby Spittin Wheelie on Sun Mar 29, 2009 2:08 pm

I just found a used copy of The Last Unicorn for £2. I've heard from many people that it's one of the best fantasy novels of all time, so I'm very excited to get on this one!

Terrible movie. I didn't much care for it at all.

awwww, that's disappointing. I was hoping it would be amazing since it has Angela Lansbury as one of the voices I guess?

I'll be the first one to say that I love this movie, because I saw it when I was young.... So now it's just as nostalgic as it is good. But apparently I'm the only one who thinks so.

Yeah don't take my word. I'm just bias against it. No real reason.

Started the book last night and read up to page 50. I can tell it's going to be good. :)

As I said before Kara, I enjoyed it too. Worth watching, and likely an even better read.
Given that I would never live that down, I made a wisecrack instead. "Do you have a little white dress? I've had this deep-seated nurse fantasy about you, Murphy."
Harry Dresden
