Terminator Salvation

In short:
--On par with, or at worst slightly behind, the quality of the original film.
--Better than T3 although not much was needed to do that.
--Not as good as T2, and nothing probably will be.

Lots of explosions, respectable story, cool looking Terminators, choppers that must be gotten to, nice special effects. But... Star Trek was better.

I'll go see Night at the Museum tonight instead. Terminator 4 is gonna be one of those "Either I see it or I don't until DVD" movies.

Me and some friends went to see it last night. It's got some pretty decent action, but a ton of problems in the logic. Most of the time we were laughing at all the melodrama the movie presented. It was also pretty fun trying to fill in the holes in the logic after the movie. For example, the robots start taking prisoners of the humans despite the fact that they're all about terminating so the logical explanation that we came up with was that they were only taking Americans so that they could harvest their juicy fats to lube the machines. That logic was pretty much the same level as the stuff they were giving us.
I must be Jewish...there's no logical reason for me not to be...
