For the first Daisho Con, the AMV contest was a great success. We recieved many good AMVs this year, and the contest went off without a hitch. Thanks everyone! Anyway, here are the results:

This was such a good field too. Every video was really enjoyable. I was really impressed that a first year con would get such quality submissions.

I did have a question about the rules for this year (2009). It says you can't have subtitles with no DivX logos as well. I was wondering if the video I made is okay for entering:

I don't have a registered version of Fraps (the video capturing software I used) so their logo is constantly across the top of the screen. I got the impression that the rule is in place to discourage people from using fansubs for their videos (I captured mine off the official DVD release). Is my video going to be alright, or do I have to edit out the logo?
Does this count as a shameless plug as well?
