YouTube "shows" section ... with anime?!

Postby Spittin Wheelie on Tue May 26, 2009 1:55 am

Anyone else catch/hear about this?
http://www.youtube.com/shows

Looks like YouTube has a section now for watching t.v. shows

Turns out there is a ton of anime on there...and a lot of times it has complete seasons.

Astro Boy
Black Blood Brothers
xxxHolic
Slayers
FMA

just to name a few...

It seems like it's content that is uploaded by Funimation and other production companies. This could be a good (and legal) way to check out a ton of anime.

Thanks pretty much in full to Funimation's expressed consent to let people watch these animes on Youtube. You'll find the same list of series on Hulu.com and a few other sites where Funimation wants to show them.

This is pretty cool though. Being able to watch the episodes uninterupted.

I agree, it is awesome.

There are some series on there that aren't Funimation though aren't there?

I just got done watching Suzuka over the youtube channel. It was quite an interesting anime. Not the best, but if anything it lets you appreciate the good anime that much more.
