Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

So, who does watch the Watchmen? I really enjoyed reading Watchmen. Great series of comics. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the medium. The art is great, the colorist did a fantastic job, and the story and character development is phenomenal. Two Tom-Thumbs up. I am looking forward to seeing the movie.

I've Heard that it was very good. I've been meaning to read Watchmen so that I would be better prepared for the upcoming film. Sounds like the graphic novel has everything I like in a story. I also agree that the film looks like it will be awesome.

I plan on watching the movie, it looks amazing and three halves. I never get much satisfaction out of comics though, they don't take enough time.
Given that I would never live that down, I made a wisecrack instead. "Do you have a little white dress? I've had this deep-seated nurse fantasy about you, Murphy."

I'm not convinced. I don't know if the movie can hold up. Its a novel, there's so much necesary detail and such an intricate piece that I fear too much will be lost in the film.

Kevin Smith has seen it, and claims it to be amazing.

We'll have to see.

I just finished reading the novel last night and it was indeed very different from anything I've read before. With regard to the film from the trailer it looks like it shall be visually amazing however I understand Nick's uncertainty and I too am worried that some of the content will be lost in the translation. However I am hopeful that it will be both a good adaptationa and film.
