What is your favorite Sci-Fi universe?

I'm gonna have to go with the DUne cosmology, just the fact that it is so intricate. Its not about the technology or the lazerbeams or the big ships but about the sociopolitical interactions between the different affiliations. It gets very in depth.

Yeah, the sociopolitcal interactions on the galactic scale is what Foundation is all about. Probably why I am so fond of that series. Dune as well, for that matter.
