Hey, we don't clog arteries or destroy humanity either. Really, we advance technology (so we won't have to work as much later), promote good health (less chance of injury = good thing), and even have the best interest of all at heart (if we're all happy, there's less reason to do anything to change the status quo).

The movie Idiocracy comes to mind. if everyone was to be part of your apathy party then I'm afraid there wouldn't be any real efforts to advance technology at all. Now war that's definitely a technological leap for humanity. Every time there is a war you see a huge jump in technology for either side. Yes fear in the hearts of humanity is a wonderful thing. Causes people to value their time on the planet. Families huddle together in their basements while bombs explode overhead.


I do say even for most of our efforts in corrupting humanity I have to say nature does cause some of the most wondrous chaos. aahhh Pompeii.... yes nature is a wonderful thing. These natural disasters just don't occur enough. With C.A.N.E in power we would strive to make them occur more often with the most advanced technologies!

Almost every invention has one way or another supported laziness. "Oh, I want to eat meat, but I don't want to chase that deer down. I guess I'll make something to kill it with from a distance."

"Oh deary me, I don't want to push this door open. I'll just make something to do it for me."

I can keep going, but I think my point is well made.
