Personally I'm currently rereading "Shadowmarch" by Tad WIlliams. I'm rereading because I'm on a huge Tad Williams Kick, and last time I read the second book I'd forgotten everything that was going on, so if I figure I'll reread both books. Problem is that when one is seriously attempting to righ a book, and plays video games reading gets shoved off to the side.
Given that I would never live that down, I made a wisecrack instead. "Do you have a little white dress? I've had this deep-seated nurse fantasy about you, Murphy."

The Alphabet of Manliness by Maddox, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell by Tucker Max (best read ever. Seriously.)

Non-Comedy books are the Resident Evil Novels (the whole backstory behind Umbrella and Wesker and whatnot are all explained in more detail then the games show, which owns.) and His Dark Materials by Philip Paulman (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and the Amber Spyglass). I highly recommend them all.

I impressed the heck out of some people on stage while playing "The Weakest Otaku" because I knew the author's name (banked points, too).

I'm halfway through rereading "West of Honor" by Pournelle. I had an itch that needed to be scratched, so I'm off fighting the barbarians and building the Empire of Man.

Currently I am reading a variety of comics. Including my favorite series of all right now, Captain America. It has action, suspense, and drama. Even with a New character acting as Cap, these stories haven't lost there touch or meaning, in fact I they are just as good as ever. Ed Brubaker, the writer, always manages to turn out quality stories month after month. As long as the stories are awesome yet deep, I will keep coming back for more.

I actually just finished Twilight and about to go on down the line in the series. Granted for those who don't like vampires, then this is not your kind of book. It actually does a different take on a lot of the other stories dealing with vampires. Plus, for those of you with who like a nice progressing love story, this does that really well. I am hooked.

Uhhh, right now...

Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson.

Why? I always need more books to read, and I've read everything that anyone has ever recommended to me, so without that resource, I don't have a way of figuring out which books are good except by reading them all. When I saw this one at the library the spine seemed pretty well-worn, so I figured it was probably at least decent. ^^

I'm on page 209 and so far it's pretty enjoyable, though I don't really see what the overarching story is going to be yet.

My current literary companion is Ender's Game, soon to be followed by Speaker for the Dead and Shadow of the Giant, if I can get my hands on them. As for why, it is an addictive read. I missed a class because it was engrossing enough that I forgot to check the time. It speaks on a personal level.

I can't believe I've waited this long to read it.
I have to warn you, I am a bit odd...
Also, I don't know better than to leave myself logged in on April 1st.
